This is a photo of Anatoly Lebed and Andrey Andiev (another Russian volunteer who fought in Kosovo) in Macedonia during the 2001 conflict as volunteers in the Macedonian special police unit. The third guy is probably another Russian volunteer, though I'm not sure.

Effective_camouflage seems rather useless, camouflage should be generally effective in it's environment by default so the only thing that should be tagged are instances where that's not the case. I could see this being used in instances where a person or object in the photo really really blends in which I assume you're using it for but I wouldn't classify the guy in the back as being that hard to see.

Trying to figure out a tag for this.

holm of the sky
karman horizon

You could also do atmospheric_gradient but that's a little boring.

I think just high altitude would cover that. Holm of the sky is not a term I've ever seen before and Karman Horizon is understandable if you know your terminology but has various interpretations based on context and is not intuitive for tagging.

What's the basis for this being an Aurora? It just looks like a high or long exposure shot right after sunset. I also think we should use Aurora Borealis over Northern lights.

This also looks to be after Golden Hour (no s).

I also have a hq version btw.

I understand adding technical drawings, reference drawings, state sponsored art, art by soldiers detailing war but I don't see the point in also hosting random art off of pixiv, that should be reserved for danbooru.

This is a refrence image for comparing danbooru's default tagging structure to our own. The danbooru link can be found here. Please compare the two, how they look, and let me know which site does it better. https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/2148002?q=aircraft_carrier+order%3Ascore

Hello HueWave! Welcome to Milbooru, and thanks for joining!

A few tips- you can use the edit tool to help suggest tags to apply. Click edit, click any tag, then click related- it will give you a tray of tags that commonly appear alongside that tag. You can also use "add note" to highlight a special area in the image, and "add commentary" to well, add any commentary that appears along with the image.
