This is the French SAMP Type 25, a High-Explosive (HE), General-Purpose (GP), low-drag or parachute-retarded aircraft-bomb which can be nose and tail fuzed.

The aircraft-bomb has both HE-Frag and HE-Blast effects and is used for general bombardment.

The aircraft-bomb is painted olive green and has a yellow band around the ogive.

The explosive filler (enclosed in a circle), nomenclature, weight, lot number, factory number, year of manufacture and maximum storage temperature (in a square) are painted in white on the aircraft-bomb body.

The SAMP Type 25E fin-assembly has the designation, lot number, manufacturer and year of manufacture marked on one of the fins or between the fins.

The SAMP Type 25DI fin-assembly has the designation stencilled between the fins.
