One of the original forms of thetig derrivative (helmet family). Possibly the first widley sold versions. Most original PSH-77s seem to have to square scallops taken out from the edges of the ballistic faceshield, and the bulletproof glass that makes of up visor is thinner than on later copies, such as the altyn (helmet)
The PSH-77 helmet was first produced by Tig Bicord AG in the late 1970s. PSH-77 designation stands for Polizei Schutzhelm-77, the 77 suggests that 1977 might be the year of introduction of the helmet, also the helmet is commonly known as TIG helmet after its manufacturer.
