Edit
Developed by France on request from Iraq under Project Baz. Designated as the CSF TMV-004 Caiman, a broad band offensive jammer. Caiman was developed into the major jamming stand-off system of the Iraqi Air Force. Each pod includes two jammers, each with its own receiver and fore-and-aft receiver antenna. Power output from each of the jammers was 250 watts on the I-band(8-10GHz) or 1kW in the L-band(50GHz). The system had three modes of operation: 'manual' enabled the pilot to select any one of the three predetermined frequencies at will; 'fully automatic' automatically activated the jammers when predetermined signals were received and the 'semi automatic' alerted the pilot of an incoming transmission , enabling him to take the appropriate action.
