The VT-55 is a recovery vehicle used ever since the 70s in Yugoslavia, with this one later being used by the army of Serbia and Montenegro, and at the end of its life cycle being used by Montenegro until being retired in 2012 after the Country demilitarized.

Majority of the VT-55s were sold off with around 20~ remaining in storage, with this example being stored at the Danilovgrad Army Camp in central Montenegro.
