American B-52H and heavy bombers of the Ukrainian Air Force Tu-160 and Tu-22M3 in Poltava.

In September 1994, the airfield in Poltava hosted celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Operation “Frantic.”

The U.S. Air Force presented B-52H Stratofortress and B-1B Lancer bombers, as well as a KC-10A aerial refueling aircraft. From Ukraine, Tu-22M3, Tu-95MS, and Tu-160 bombers were present.
