Special Operations Command of the 1st Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment (1er Regiment de Parachutistes d'Infanterie de Marine - 1er RPIMa). Based in Bayonne, the COS was created on June 24, 1992, following the the Gulf War. Its role is to direct and coordinate missions for Special Forces units; these are permanently under its direct command and immediately available for action. The COS is specialized in commando operations. Soldier with his M16 American rifle.
