    GDR MiG-23ML formation

Two-ship sortie MiG-23ML from the East German Air Force's 9th Fighter Squadron (NVA-LSK JG-9), flying somewhere between Peenemünde and Rostock-Laage. Note the training munition on the outer pylon (UZR-23/24s?) vaguely resembling an R-23/24 (NATO AA-7 Apex).
