A member of a Syrian honor guard stands at attention as his unit prepares for the arrival of a visiting dignitary during Operation Desert Shield. The soldier is armed with an AK-47 assault rifle.
Date 14 May 1992 (Although it is impossible because Operation Desert Shield was over by then).
