    A U.S. Soldier acting as an opposing force (OPFOR) but assigned to 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, lays down suppression fire toward opposing forces near a tactical operations center during Combined Resolve XI, Hohenfels, Germany, Dec. 8, 2018. Combined Resolve XI at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center is the final exercise in 1-1 CD’s rotation in support of Atlantic Resolve in Europe, which evaluates the interoperability of U.S. forces with their NATO allies and partners.
