A U.S. Army opposition force soldier from the 1st Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment, “Geronimo” fires a rocket propelled grenade simulator at rotational training unit forces near the Joint Readiness Training Center village of Marghoz on Fort Polk, La., Aug. 24, 2013, during JRTC 13-09. The exercise scenarios replicate many of the unique situations and challenges a unit may face to include host national officials and citizens, insurgents and terrorists, news media coverage and non-governmental organizations.
